Bryant Park is the Best urban escape in Midtown Manhattan. Whether you are skating at the Winter Village or lounging on the lawn in the summer, this park is a perfect sanctuary. The free Wi-Fi and clean restrooms make it a top-tier spot to relax or get some work done.

Visited in February. Great place to relax. Ice rink is a free admission but with a catch, if you bring your own skates. Otherwise it’s about $20 to rent skates. Great park overall

Bryant Park is one of the best public spaces in New York City, vibrant year-round and especially special during the winter. The Winter Village transforms the park with a seasonal market, food vendors, and an ice skating rink that feels festive without being overwhelming. The holiday tree, lights, and overall atmosphere make it a great place to spend time, whether you are visiting or live nearby. The Lodge is also an amazing spot within the park, after ice skating or shopping, you can warm up and get a sweet treat inside. Very cool atmosphere. The park is well maintained, centrally located, and easy to enjoy at your own pace. It works just as well for a casual stroll as it does for meeting friends or taking a break between errands. Even in colder months, there is always energy here. Restrooms: Available and convenient Dog-friendliness: Dogs are commonly seen, generally leashed. A true NYC staple and one of the city’s most thoughtfully designed public spaces.

I just love Bryant Park at Christmas. The winter village is really nice, with lots of options for seasonal food, drinks and activities (including gift shopping, ice skating, and a carousel). The decorations are always tasteful and the fact that the park sits between the majestic National Library building at one end and a lovely French restaurant at the other gives it a very charming feel.

The Christmas village here was remarkable! Prices for delicious food were around $12 and there were amazing gifts as well! Prices from $10 to $50 for great items! Plenty of gifts available for purchase including jewelry, art, etc. Tons of places available to sit and enjoy your visit surrounded by the Christmas lights. The Christmas tree here is gorgeous as well. I loved how we were submerged in culture and food from every country! Definitely a must-see!
